1. Introduction

Welcome to Quiqpe Private Limited. This Privacy Policy explains how Quiqpe Private Limited ("Quiqpe", "we", "us", "our") collects, uses, stores and protects the personal data of users ("you", "User") who access our mobile application or website at https://quiqpe.com.

Quiqpe provides mobile recharge, DTH recharge and BBPS (Bharat Bill Payment System) services. By registering or using the platform, you consent to the practices described in this Policy.

This Policy complies with the Information Technology Act 2000, the Digital Personal Data Protection Act 2023 (DPDP Act), the IT (Reasonable Security Practices and Sensitive Personal Data) Rules 2011, RBI Guidelines on Payment Aggregators, the Google Play Developer Privacy Policy and the Apple App Store Review Guidelines (Section 5.1).

2. Information We Collect

2.1 Information You Provide

  • Full name and profile details at registration
  • Mobile number (primary account identifier)
  • Email address for receipts and notifications
  • Saved beneficiary numbers — mobile, DTH subscriber IDs, BBPS consumer numbers
  • Customer support queries and communications

2.2 Automatically Collected

  • Device model, OS version, unique device identifiers (Android ID / IDFV on iOS)
  • App usage analytics — screens visited, features used, session duration
  • IP address and approximate city-level location for fraud prevention
  • Crash logs and performance diagnostics
  • Referral tree data — your referral code, upline and downline relationships

2.3 Payment Information

Quiqpe does NOT store payment card numbers, UPI PINs or net-banking credentials. All payment instrument data is processed exclusively by PCI-DSS certified third-party gateways (Razorpay or equivalent). We only receive transaction status and reference IDs.

3. How We Use Your Data

3.1 Service Delivery

  • Processing mobile recharge, DTH and BBPS payment requests
  • Sending transaction confirmations via SMS, WhatsApp and email
  • Crediting Quiqpe Points and referral rewards
  • Processing refunds for failed transactions

3.2 Account & Security

  • Account creation, authentication and session management
  • Fraud detection, prevention and investigation
  • Customer support and dispute resolution

3.3 Legal & Compliance

  • Compliance with RBI, NPCI, TRAI and Income Tax regulations
  • Responding to lawful requests from courts or government authorities
  • Maintaining transaction records under FEMA and GST laws

We do NOT sell, rent or trade your personal data. We share data only in these limited circumstances:

5.1 Service Partners

  • Payment gateways for processing transactions
  • Telecom operators (Jio, Airtel, Vi, BSNL, MTNL) for recharge execution
  • BBPS network and DISCOMs / billers for bill payment
  • SMS and WhatsApp gateway providers for notifications
  • Cloud hosting and database providers under signed Data Processing Agreements

5.2 Legal Requirements

  • Valid court orders or warrants from competent Indian courts
  • Requests from RBI, NPCI, TRAI, CERT-In or other regulators
  • Investigation of fraud or violation of these policies

7. Your Rights (DPDP Act 2023)

  • Right to Access: Request a copy of your personal data held by us.
  • Right to Correction: Correct inaccurate or outdated personal data.
  • Right to Erasure: Request deletion of data (subject to legal retention requirements).
  • Right to Withdraw Consent: Opt out of optional data uses anytime via App Settings > Privacy.
  • Right to Nominate: Designate a nominee to exercise your rights in case of death/incapacity.
  • Right to Grievance: File a complaint with our Grievance Officer at grievance@quiqpe.com.

To exercise any right, email privacy@quiqpe.com or use 'Privacy Settings' in the app. We respond within 30 days.

8. Data Security

  • AES-256 encryption for data at rest
  • TLS 1.3 encryption for all data in transit
  • PCI-DSS compliant payment processing — card/UPI data never reaches Quiqpe servers
  • Role-based access control — only authorised personnel access personal data
  • Automated session timeout after 15 minutes of inactivity
  • OTP-based two-factor authentication for all transactions
  • Regular security audits and vulnerability assessments
In case of a data breach affecting your rights, we will notify you and the relevant authorities within 72 hours as required under DPDP Act 2023.

9. Children's Privacy

Quiqpe is strictly for users aged 18 years and above. We do not knowingly collect data from minors. If you believe a minor has registered, email privacy@quiqpe.com immediately. We will delete the account within 7 business days. This provision satisfies Google Play's Families Policy and Apple App Store's child safety requirements.

11. Changes to This Policy

  • We update the 'Effective Date' at the top of this document.
  • Material changes trigger an in-app notification to all registered users.
